Scrabble for Cheaters is a Scrabble tournament with a dishonest twist for an honest cause. Teams compete in a fierce Scrabbletournament where the traditional use of brain power mixes with the alluring use of officially sanctioned cheats. The more money a team raises for 826CHI's free student programming prior to the tournament date, the more that team can cheat during the match.
Tournament is open to any and all player pairs willing to lay their tiles on the line.

Registration is now closed for Scrabble for Cheaters 2011 (unless you've secretly raised a million dollars and just forgot to register, if that's the case, email Patrick). Thanks to everyone for signing up! You can still donate to teams over here.
As soon as a team has signed up, anyone and everyone can go to www.826chi.org/cheaters and pledge their support for the team(s) of their choice. By donating money to the team, the pledger increases the opportunities for the team to buy certain cheats. It is therefore advantageous for team members to raise as much money as possible. During the tournament, teams will use their cheats against opposing teams.
