Subrianakhem Kheperu, known affectionately as Subriana, is a native Chicagoan who relishes being from “out South.” Subriana’s involvement with non-profits and youth programming extends back to her days as an After School Matters student and her love for many of Chicago’s captivating museum experiences. After spending time learning how best to serve her community at The Real HU, you know, she answered her calling to youth development work in Chicago while finishing her BA at DePaul University. She is excited to support 826CHI’s endeavors with young authors creatively navigating past, present, and future life experiences. Outside of work, Subriana enjoys binge-watching shows while devouring snacks, going to the movies almost strictly for movie nachos, and exploring the outdoors.
