Known as one of Chicago’s most fun galas, Eat Your Words is an evening of impeccable food and music (because, Chicago) and one-of-a-kind art by Chicago artists inspired by student writing.
With the incomparable Jill Hopkins as our host, award winning author Erika L. Sànchez as our special guest, and dining on some of the finest Chicago cuisine, you will be in the company of 400 socially-engaged, art-enthusiastic, and food-loving Chicagoans – including artists, community leaders, philanthropists, educators, authors, and change-makers all passionate about helping Chicago’s young people build strong futures.
Your evening will include an entertaining seated dinner, a vibrant open bar with cocktails and mocktails, an exclusive, one-of-a-kind art auction inspired by 826CHI student authors, poems crafted on typewriters just for you, music to make you move by one of Chiago's leading DJs, and so much more!
