Associate Board Mix and Mingle

As we get ready to kick off our fall programs, join us for this exciting back-to-school mix and mingle event to meet other like-minded individuals and find out more about joining the 826CHI Associate Board. Hosted at our brand new office space, we'll also be talking about opportunities to get involved in upcoming volunteering opportunities, such as our annual gala Eat Your Words on Thursday, September 28th!

Drinks and food will be provided, and feel free to bring any friends and colleagues interested in becoming an 826CHI secret agent!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Teacher Series #1

Join us for 826CHI's fall teacher series! These events will be virtual, taking place on Thursday afternoons from 4:30pm-6pm on September 14, October 12, and November 9, and will focus on mental health for educators.

We are also partnering with YCA to offer the Writing Teachers Collective on Saturdays in person. These events are led by a rotating team of Teaching Artists and cover a wide range of topics, providing a free and open space held for and by educators and allies to Chicago’s youth interested in teaching and creative writing.
