Secret Agent Storytime: January

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to sing, dance, read books, and make crafts with Agent Zach and your friends, parents, and siblings on the first Sunday of every month at the Wicker Park Secret Agent Supply Co. This message will self-destruct in 30 seconds. We're counting on you, junior story agents!

This event is free and open to the public. Recommended for junior agents ages 0-4 and their families.

In addition to helping us run every single student program, volunteers serve as lead spies in our storefront, design posters, copy edit books, table at community outreach events, and attend student reading. We're always seeking enthusiastic folks to join our team.

Mission EDUC826: Holding Space

Join us January 11th, from 12-2pm for conversation and writing exercises on how to be fully present for our students and respect that they are the experts of their own experiences. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided.

Trivia for Cheaters 2020

Ever wanted to be on a game show hosted by Peter Sagal?! 

826CHI's Trivia for Cheaters is a trivia competition that invites you to cheat with creativity and too much zeal in the name of supporting 826CHI's mission to amplify Chicago's youth voices. Join us on Friday, February 7th from 6-8pm for a trivia challenge for the ages!

Tap your friends, family, corporate matches, and social media networks to contribute to your team's cause, and you'll unlock powerful cheats to be used against other teams during the game.

All funds raised support 826CHI’s 2020 Young Authors Book Project.
