Volunteering at 826CHI was one of the first things Jessica did after moving to Chicago from Cleveland in 2009. Since then, she's been hooked on 826CHI's creative energy and the opportunity to serve Chicago's youth. She has over 15 years of experience working in marketing and communications. Jessica is also a freelance writer and photographer whose work has appeared in Condé Nast Traveller, GQ, Chicago magazine, Midwest Living, and more. She is the author of two books—Secret Chicago: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure and Chicago Scavenger—which both feature the Wicker Park Secret Agent Supply Co. Jessica lives in Wicker Park, where she can be found carrying too many books home from the library and reading with her cat.
