Remy Guzman loves making connections through laughter. A former clown back when they were 10 years old, they appreciate the goofy and silly moments in everyday life. It only makes sense they choose to be a comedian as an adult. An interdisciplinary artist and educator they use comedy to teach kids and adults the joys of writing and art making. Remy is a co-founder of Marimacha Monarca Press, a queer & trans people of color collective of artists and educators, centering themes of queerness, race, language, migration, accessibility, and visual storytelling. They are also a co-founder of Santabear Productions (SBP), a queer DIY production company whose aim is to build a multi faceted wheel-house for sketch comedy and film that centers equitable representation. You can find them doing stand-up, sketch comedy and characters all around the city. One of Remy's greatest joys is eating a giant shrimp cocktail.
