Prologue—Chicago’s premier literary cocktail party—returns for the fifth year, bringing together current and future authors, book lovers, and hundreds of supporters of 826CHI’s nonprofit creative writing and tutoring center.This year, Prologue returns to the American Writers Museum on Friday, June 1 from 7 to 10 p.m. for an evening of hors d’oeuvres, open bar, and a raffle of luxe prize packages, sprinkled in with readings of the curious and wonderful stories created by 826CHI’s student writers spanning first grade through high school.

All proceeds go to 826CHI’s year-round programming, so you can support a great cause, meet amazing and talented writers, and explore the fabulous American Writers Museum at this event of literary proportions.
